Welcome to Mrs. Hoffman's APES Class!
AP Environmental Science is a two semester interdisciplinary course designed to be the equivalent of a one-semester, introductory, college-level course. Students learn the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the environment, to evaluate the relative risks associated with environmental problems, and to examine alternative solutions for resolving and/or preventing them. Laboratory and field investigations provide opportunities to test concepts and principles that are introduced in the classroom.
